Atsuko is one of Mitzo’s friends who is quiet and enjoys reading words in the dictionary.

Hitomi Character comparison

Hitomi reminds me a bit like Miayako Miyazaki from Bamboo Blade. She comes off as a sweet innocent girl and sometimes switches up out of nowhere.  As my manga progresses you start to see her true personality.

Tamiko Character Comparison

Tamiko in some sense is like Tomoyo Sakagami because she’s very athletic and good an any sports. In addition, she is straight forward and really honest like Tomoyo.

Tamiko is one of Mitzo’s friends who’s a tomboy who plays Volleyball and is very out-going and energetic.

Tarazuko Character comparison

So… it took me a while to figure out who I could compare Tarazuko’s character to, and with some help from my little sis we decided he kind of remind us of  Ikki Takada from Kenichi: the Mightiest disciple. In some sense, when we first meet Takada, he seems like a threat but somehow you know he’s really not a bad guy and Bam! You learn about his background story and immediately fall in love with him… At least I did J. Well Tarazuko is kind of the same. He comes across as an ass hole at the beginning but then you will grow to love him.

Tarazuko Sketch

        Tarazuko, is the girls racing opponent. He is a confident racer and has faith in his team. He’s not cocky although he came across that way and he is a go getter. If he sees what he wants, he doesn't hesitate to go after it. He believes in the scheme of the universe, some things are just meant to be. He likes to take risks and is not afraid of rejection.

Darnell’s character is like Youhei Sunohara from Clannad. He’s the type of character that is arrogant in front of others but is always putting his foot in his mouth which makes Mitzo break up with him several times. He’s girl crazy but just don’t know how to talk to them which makes his relationship with Mitzo quite interesting.

Darnell is Mitzo’s Boyfriend. He’s kind of that annoying kid that’s kind of on the ignorant side. He’s in love with Mitzo’s body more than anything which causes them to fight at times. He’s currently living in Japan because his father is in the Military.

Su-Choel starts off in my manga as an comic relief like Sokka in Avatar the Last Airbender. Like Sokka, Su-Choel is very resourceful and is very handy when it comes to fixing things. In addition, Su-Choel is like Kairi Okayasu. He’s always trying to help Nya out with her love life but we as the reader don’t find out in detail about his past to later on in the manga.

Chris's Comparison

I see Chris’s character as crossed mix between Kenichi Kurokawa from Mezzo Forte and Headmaster Kaien Cross from Vampire Knight. He’s a big flirt and might even bark at a beautiful woman like Kurokawa. Just like Kurokawa is is teased because he’s going bald, Chris is teased by being a dirty old perv. In addition, Chris is very confident in his cooking like Kurokawa. However, Chris has the very childish demeanor like Kaien Cross when he’s drunk and adores his daughters just like Cross Adores Yuki. But a times Chris can be very serious when the situation calls for it just Kaien Cross.

Su-Choel Sketch

Su-Choel, is a friend of the family. Chris sees him as a son he never had. He is really close to Nya (They are around the same age.) Su-choel learned the trade of carpentry an wires while he was in high school so he kind of the fixer upper of the bar. Su-choel is very kind, funny and always in love with a high class girl.

Chris or also known as old man Rhodes, is the father of Mitzo, Honna and Nya.  He’s a typical drunk who is hunted by his past and has lots of regrets. There really isn't a moment when he’s sober. He owns a bar (go figure) where he employs two older people and Nya (whenever she’s free).

Honna is the oldest sister; she took on the motherly role when their mother left. Honna uses sex appeal to get her way and her sisters out of trouble. She is 23 years old and is always asking her father for money to get her hair done, clothes and she is very high maintenance. 

I think it’s funny the way how I mix these two. It’s kind of hard to describe Nya without giving away too much. Nya is a studious, flat chested student like Haruhi Fujioka, not caring how she dresses as long as she’s comfortable and is always mistaken as a guy. But she is quick to flaunt her intellects and likes to insult people in the process like Kyoya Ootori.

So far I'm trying to post a new character each sunday, a quote from them on Tuesday or Wednesday and who I compare them to or their character type on fridays. Hope this is not to much for everyone

Nya is the Second Oldest Cousin who is majoring in Chemical Engineering in Kyoto University. She seems indifferent in most situations. She’s a very logical individual. She doesn't have much of a love life. She attends school, race, fix cars and help her father out in the bar.  

I see Mitzo like Revy from Black Lagoon and Mikura from Mezzo Forte....Minus the guns lol.
